Cultural Tour of Royal Rajasthan

Day 1 : Arrival in Delhi

Our representative meets you in the airport and you are transferred to the hotel. Delicious dinner is served and you rest for the night in the hotel.

Day 2 : DELHI

In Delhi you will get the feel of not only colonial India but also the Mughal Ear and at the same time, you will be able to enjoy a fast city life. Old Delhi is characterized by monuments and buildings that have been built many years ago. Some of them include visit Qutab Minar, India Gate and the President’s Palace. The British left India more than 60 years ago, but they have left their footprints in many places including Delhi. You will come across many colonial-styled bungalows in the city with avenues lined with trees. Parliament House, the Vice Regal Palace and the War Memorial Arch are some of the other places that you visit. You also visit Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat (place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated). Shantivan, Laxmi Narayan Temple, National Musuem, Lotus Temple and the magnificent Red Fort are some of the other things that you get to see. You return to the hotel in the evening and stay there for the night.

Day 3 : Delhi - Jaipur

Early in your third morning of your trip, we set out for Jaipur and on your arrival in Jaipur, you first check-in at the hotel, freshen up and then we begin our Jaipur excursion. We visit the Amber Fort that is located about 11 km from the city and is one of the most beautiful ones in the state. Set against the back drop of rugged hills, this fort offers a blend of both Mughal and Hindu architecture. This fort was constructed in the year 1592 and is made up of marble and red stone. The walls are decorated by beautiful paintings and magnificent carvings along with mirror and stone settings. There is also arrangement for elephant ride to tour the fort.


Day 4 : Jaipur - Sariska

In the morning, we cover rest of Jaipur that includes the Hawa Mahal (this has 953 pink sandstone windows), City Palace and the Museum. In the afternoon, we drive to Sariska and stay overnight at the Sariska palace.

Day 5 : Sariska - Mandawa

In the morning, we start of the Sariska jungle tour which is actually a tiger reserve. The Sariska National Park is also famous for its variety of flora and many exotic bird species like peafowl, bush quail, tree pie, grey partridge and many more. you will also come across other species of animals like langur, wild dog, leaopard, jungle cat to name only a few. Later in the day, we drive to Mandawa and stay overnight.

Day 6 : Mandawa - Bikaner

We start the day by seeing the picturesque view of the sunrise from the Desert Resort and then from there, we visit the Havelis and here in Mandawa, there are quite a few beautiful havelies. Later in the afternoon, we start off for Bikaner and check-in at the hotel at stay there for the night.

Day 7 : Bikaner

It is fortified city and happens to be one of the most important cities as far Rajasthan desert tour is concerned. You will come across lovely golden sand dunes as you start touring the city. It is the home to the largest camel research and breeding firm in the world. Enjoy camel safari as your Rajasthan trip would be incomplete without it. The history of this city dates back to 1486 and there are many palaces and forts and some of them have been built from pink sandstone as well. There are also few museums that have preserved the rich history of the city that is built on a slightly raised ground and is surrounded by an embattled wall that is 7 km long. We see all and later in the evening, we drive back to the hotel and stay there for the night.

Day 8 : Bikaner - Deshnok - Nagaur - Khimsar

Early the next morning we start for Khimsar and on the way visit the Deshnok Temple, in front of which you will come across a beautiful marble façade that has doors made up of solid silver. Then we drive to the Nagaur Fort where after seeing the magnificent fort, we drive to Khimsar. We check-in at the hotel and spend the night there. The Naguar Fort has received the UNESCO award as well and is a huge fort and there is a lot of things to be explored here.

Day 9 : Khimsar - Ossian - Mandore - Jodhpur

Early in the morning, we start our Khimsar tour. The Khimsar Fort and the Khimsar Dune Village are what you see there. after completing Khimsar , we go to visit the beautiful Jain temples in Ossian and Manddore. After that we start our drive to Jodhpur and check-in at the hotel. We spend the night at the hotel and wait for the next day to start our Jodhpur trip.

Day 10 : Jodhpur

Jodhpur or the Blue City is one of the most beautiful cities in Rajasthan. We start our Jodhpur trip with mighty Mehangarh Fort which itself is an architectural masterpiece. It is a crowded city and it indeed is a blue in color. There are many streets inside the fort and you will also come across many shops that sell traditional Rajasthani art work and handicrafts. There are also few gardens and lakes in Jodhpur and the Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park. The Umaid Bhavan Palace, Ghanta Tower, Jawant Thada are some of the other tourist attractions. We return at the hotel in the afternoon and stay for the night.


Day 11 : Jodhpur - Delhi

We transfer you to the airport where you to take the connecting flight to Delhi or Bombay. You lovely trip of Rajasthan comes to end, though you learn a lot about the Mughals and the Rajputs.
