The Indian terrain boasts of a rich history that is hundreds and hundreds years old. There are cities in the country that are more than 5,000 years old and there are newly developed modern cities as well. India has been ruled by many kings and rulers in different times and all of them have left their mark in some way or the other. There are many buildings, forts and palaces that portray architecture of different kingdoms and some of them have been built even by blending tow different type of architecture style.

Rajasthan or the land of kings/kingdom is full of majestic towers, forts and palaces mainly built in Rajput style of architecture but there are also many that have been built following the Delhi sultanate or Mughal style. Rajasthan has been ruled mainly by the Rajputs and even after the Mughals conquered entire India, they failed to conquer entire Rajasthan though they managed to conquer most of it. Your Rajasthan Forts and Palaces Tour starts with Delhi and Agra as these two are also old cities and has some of the most beautiful monuments of the world, the Taj Mahal being one of the Seven Wonders of the World. After completing Delhi and Agra, we visit the major monuments and forts of this state.

Red Fort, Delhi

Day 1 : Arrival in Delhi

Our representative meets you in the airport and you are transferred to your hotel, where you relax and spend the entire night. You can go shopping in the evening if you like or stay back and relax.

Day 2 : Delhi

New Delhi is the capital city of India and along with New Delhi; we also visit the major attractions of Old Delhi as well. Some of them include the majestic Red Fort that is a world heritage site and there is a lot to explore here. The architecture itself is wonderful and it shows how scientific, Indian architects were even so many years ago. There are balconies that offer great view of the surroundings and there is also the Rang Mahal or the painted palace, a water channel and many such things that are worth seeing. After Red Fort, we visit the Raj Ghat, Shantivan, Jama Masjid and of course, the famous Chadni Chowk. Raj Ghat is the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. As far as New Delhi is concerned, we visit the Qutab Minar, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, the lotus and Laxminarayan temple. We return late at night to the hotel where dinner is served. We spend the night at the hotel.


Day 3 : Delhi - Agra

You check out early in the morning and after that you are on your way to Agra which is 203km away and you would really enjoy this Delhi to Agra car ride. Upon your arrival in Agra, you first check in at your hotel and then in the afternoon, you visit one of the most beautiful monuments in the world that was built in the year 1630 and attracts people from near and far. It was built in the memory of Mumtaz, the wife on then Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan who died in the year 1629 soon after the birth of their 14th child. Till today, it is considered to be the ultimate symbol of love. Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays and so it is important that you plan your trip accordingly. You will love seeing the beautiful architecture of this monument that is built completely of white marbles. We also visit the Agra Fort and the tomb of Itmad-ul-Duala. You complete the third day of your trip with Taj Mahal and spend the rest of the night in a hotel.

Jaigarh Fort

Day 4 : Journey to Jaipur

Early in the next morning, we start off for Jaipur or the pink city and on our way, visit the Fatehpur Sikri. This is also a world heritage site. There are rock shelters with beautiful paintings and rock carving dating back to many years. The architecture of this city defines a perfect Indo-Muslim architecture blend and the buildings in here have jharokas, ornamental arches, decorated pillars, chhatris and many such things that are worth seeing. We also visit the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and if you are lucky, you would be able to see the Siberian Crane which is a threatened species. Then we proceed to Jaipur and reach in the afternoon. Check-in at the hotel and overnight stay there.

Day 5 : Jaipur

We visit the Amber Fort where you enjoy a great experience of an elephant’s ride to the top of the fort and back. Then, in the afternoon we visit the City Palace that offers a perfect blend of Rajput and Muslim architecture and after that we also visit the Central Museum and the Jantar Mantar which is an observatory. Later, we move to see the Hawa Mahal that has 953 windows and had been constructed from the ladies, so that they could see the processions on the road, without being seen themselves.

Day 6 : Journey to Bikaner

The next day, we take the intercity train the Bikaner. We check-in at the hotel and relax for the day.

Day 7 : Bikaner

We start our Bikaner tour with the Junagarh Fort that was built in the year 1593 and has a wall that is 986 meters long and also have 37 bastions. We also visit the largest camel research and breeding firm in the world which is here in the city and even enjoy a camel ride. Bikaner is also full of beautiful sand dunes. There are also few museums that we visit.

Day 8 : Journey to Jodhpur

Early in the morning we drive to Jodhpur or the Blue city. We check-in at the hotel and then start our sightseeing after some time with the Mehangarh Fort. The Umaid Bhavan Palace, Ghanta Tower, Jawant Thada are some the other places that we visit. We also visit the Mandore Garden and the Government museum and zoo.

Day 9 : Narlai

We drive to Narlai in the morning and explore the village and climb 350ft granite rock that has beautiful caves and temples to enjoy the majestic view of the surroundings.

Day 10 : Journey to Udaipur

We drive to Udaipur in the morning and visit the Pichola Lake that very day itself. The city has many narrow lanes. We return to the hotel in the evening and relax for the night.

Day 11 : Udaipur

We spend the morning seeing The City Palace and Museum and the Jagdish Temple. You have the entire afternoon to yourself.


Day 12 : Journey to Mumbai

We transfer you to the airport in time to board the flight to Mumbai and our representative picks you up from the Mumbai airport and transfers you to the hotel where you relax. In the afternoon, we visit the Gateway of India, Gandhi Memorial, Marine Drive, the Hanging Garden, Juhu beach and also the Chowpatty beach. You return to the hotel at night and stay overnight.

Day 13 : Leave Mumbai

We transfer you to the Mumbai airport in time for your flight to the next destination. Our services end .
